We were thrilled to announce at Prizegiving that the total money raised this year for our focus charity AECC was a massive €14,000, beating last year’s record.
Led by their ambitious Chairman (Lucy Watts, Yr. 13), the Student Council worked towards ‘Operation 14k’ organising events including bake sales, sponsored walk, Valentine’s Day flower sale and the Christmas Fair to raise money to support the cancer charity. The final event on the fundraising calendar was the Primary School Spellathon which sent the total money raised past the €13,400 total of last year up to the new record.
